 What is the importance of photosynthesis.

1. photosynthesis is how plants get energy,which in turn sence wwe eat the plants give us energy from the photosynthesis that accord b4.

2.  Photosynthesis is ythe process by which plants,using light energy from the sun,water and carbon dioxide,convert this products to chemical energy which plants use to grow and function.

3.photosynthesis occurs in all chlorophyll-containing plants ,algae and cyanobacteria ,with plants making  up over 90 percent of the earth's biomass or living mass.

4. Tropical rainforests as contribute up to 20 percent of the world's oxygen through photosynthesis.

Process Of photosynthesis

1. The process by which a cell captures energy in sunlight and uses it to make food is called  photosynthesis.

2. Organisms are divided into autotrophs and heterophs according to their energy pathways.

3.autotrophs are able to make their  own food ,such as algae.

4.Heterotrophs cannot make their own food,such as a zebra.

5. During photosynthesis,plants and some other organisms use energy from the sun to convert carbon dioxide and water into oxygen and sugars.

6. The process of photosynthesis starts off with capturing energy in sunlight.
